Event Details
Date: June 25–28, 2026 | Thu–Sun | Location: Orlando, FL
Thursday: Welcome Meet and Greet (6:00 to 9:00 PM)
Friday: Family Picnic (11:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
Saturday Night: Family Banquet (6:00 to 11:00 PM)
Banquet Attire: Island White with one bold accent color (green, coral, turquoise, or gold). Think tropical elegant.
We’ll gather at Margaritaville Resort and the Sunset Walk Promenade, surrounded by walkable dining, shopping, live entertainment, and weekly events. Enjoy the included H2O Water Park, resort pools, and laid back island vibes, with all the excitement of Orlando just minutes away from world class theme parks and attractions for every age.
This weekend blends relaxation, fun, and family connection in one unforgettable destination.
Sunset Walk Orlando
You can absolutely enjoy a full 3 day weekend at Sunset Walk Promenade without renting a car, leaving the property, or visiting a theme park. On-site shuttles connect you to dining, shopping, and the water park. If you decide to explore more of Orlando, shuttles are available to major theme parks, and Uber or Lyft are convenient options to most destinations.
This Orlando metro location is technically Kissimmee, Fl which sits at the center of Disney, Universal, and SeaWorld. Midweek is the best time to visit these popular attractions, offering lighter crowds along with excellent entertainment, shopping, and dining beyond the rides.
Beyond the theme parks, Orlando offers beaches about an hour away near the cruise ports, along with casino cruise options available as daytime or overnight trips. The area also features golf courses, spas, wineries, jazz clubs, live music, nightlife, and scenic nature parks.
Margaritaville Hotel & Cottages
Margaritaville Resort Orlando offers a tropical paradise setting for our reunion, combining comfort, space, and a true resort experience.
Single & Double Hotel Rooms with Balcony
A special reunion rate of $189 per night plus tax, including the resort fee, is available for one King or two Queen bed rooms. Rates are valid for June 25–28, 2026 and up to three days before and after, based on availability. All resort guests receive complimentary access to Island H2O Water Park.
Reservation requires one night deposit. The hotel also offers Flexpay payment options starting at $68 per month.
Cottages and Villas
Cottages are located in walkable village style neighborhoods and range from 2–8 bedrooms, with each bedroom featuring its own private bathroom. These homes offer the best value for larger families or groups needing multiple rooms, with select options including private pools and hot tubs.

Hey Family👋🏾. First I want to give a heartfelt thank you to our generous cousins on the Reunion Committee Alvin Blades, Beverly Johnson, Jerry Dixon, Keever Rhodes Muir, Kenneth Bo Brown, Michelle Powell, Roland Brown, Steve Potts, Veronica Giles Moore, Vivian Gaines and my brother James for helping support the Rhodes Family Reunion.
This is Jay Bobby Rhodes from Oklahoma City. I’m honored to help carry forward our long standing Rhodes Family Reunion tradition. I’m the son of Pete Rhodes and Lillian Rhodes, grandson of Johnnie and Bessie Rhodes, husband to Janna, and dad to Ethan, Eli and Lily.
After visiting Margaritaville Orlando with my family last summer, I loved the Sunset Walk vibe, walkable dining and shopping, live entertainment, and the Island H20 water park. Our committee agreed Orlando offers attractive airfare and hotel value, plus a true resort experience with something for everyone to love.
